Greetings! I think this dilemma has been posted before, but I can't seem to find the post and related thread. My 07' Heritage had the chrome w/gold eagle visors on headlight and passing lamps and they had been put on prior to my buying the bike. They fit properly. For my recently acquired 2012 Heritage, I purchased the same visors for headlight and passing lamps. I did have to buy the additional passing lamp trim rings to allow the visors to fit.
However, as I read someone talking about, I can't get the headlight trim ring to seat properly when I put the visor in (a gap remains between the bottom of the trim ring and the headlight mounting ring). Mechanic told me to seat the top of the trim ring, then "bump" the bottom of the ring with the heel of my hand. I tried this in various forms and I still have a significant gap towards the bottom of the ring.
I'm hoping someone knows the trick to this!!
