headlight issue

I was out for a ride the other night and I shut my bike off and when I went to leave the high beam indicator light came on my dash. as I checked my headlight it doesn't work, and the high beam indicator light stays on. What is the problem I replaced the bulb but still no headlight, is the switch bad? Need advise for this. Thanks

Welcome to The Forum, Check the plug to the light to see if it has melted, try the light with test leads off a battery charger to see if it works:s
