going to install a set of dresser duals on my 012 roadglide but vance hines neglected in there install instructions to give the torqe for the header flange bolts. does anybody have them? also i have a new set of oem harley header port gaskets, but VH says to use theres. any problem using oem gaskets? thanks for your help in advance, cant wait to here these new pipes! :small3d024:

Actually, you need to tighten the flange nuts in sequence so they seal properly against the crush gaskets:

- Tighten "top" nut of front cyl flange to 9-18 in/lb. Tighten "bottom" nut to 100-120 in/lb. Final tighten "top" nut to 100-120 in/lb.

- Tighten "bottom" nut of rear cyl flange to 9-18 in/lb. Tighten "top" nut to 100-120 in/lb. Final tighten "bottom" nut to 100-120 in/lb.

HD OEM gaskets are fine & remember to re-torque all exhaust nuts after 50-miles to ensure everything's snug. Enjoy!

I don't like the HD crush gaskets. Started using the Cometic C9540 Extreme Performance exhaust gaskets.
