head breather

any ideas for fixing stripped breather threads on a 94 fxr. i installed a helicoil iand its working fine for holding the carb but its not letting the breather work. the front lifter block keeps seeping oil...thanks

I dont understand how a helicoil would stop it from breathing unless it was longer than the origional thread as it breathes through the centre of the banjo bolt

I agree unless the banjo bolt is not tight or missing the crush gaskets:s

thanks for the info, the bolt is tight & the crush gaskets are in place. im going to take it apart in the morning, I think the helicoil is covering the opening inside the head.
