So it will fill the tire valve stem and can read the pressure. That could be handy and you could probably add air if necessary, albeit would take a lot of pump strokes.

Just like using a bicycle pump it will take a lot of strokes. I used to carry on in my bag on my 92 FLHS:s

Yes it will fit both. [at least on my 11 tri glide] But if your going to add more than 2 or 3 psi stick with a small compressor. Or You'll be pumping for ever.

Why not as long as the gauge reads the psi ok, I use a progressive pump and the gauge reads over 70 psi.
