India. 1 billion people. 'we' start selling Harley in India in a few months (2010)
The 'roll-out' showed great interest with the fast-growing middle and upper class. India, China to a far lesser extent ( for now) will not only keep Harley afloat, it will prosper. When our economy is allowed to turn around and people get out of the way of a turn-around, Harley will be back in the 50+++ range with 2-1 splits again. I'm holding the stock and, if and when I can, will buy more. I just wish I could afford it now. ( even better, when it was down to 9 a few months back.)...Selling MV?...don't know...Dropping Buell? again, I'm not sure. I must assume the leaders of MOCO know what they're doing. Tough times came and went and Harley flourished..I believe they/we will do it again.
