Harley SAE Connector Fused?

As the title reads... I looked at the wiring schematic of my bike in my S/M, and nothing is mentioned of it. Unless it's called something else.

I'm in the process of building a little electrical project and would love to know before I take the bike apart just to find out if it is or it's not.

I would think Harley would be smart and throw at least a 5-10 amp inline fuse or run it thru the breaker box fused. But I've seen oddities before.

Are you asking if a connector like the one below is fused? Or should be fused?

If its for a battery tender, absolutely fuse it. I am pretty sure most tenders come with the pig tail fused, I know the last couple I bought did.

You can see the fuse block on the other end of this one.

I went to go take the seat off my bike to clean it underneath, and I got curious and noticed a 3 amp ATC fuse on the battery tender cable on the positive side.

So, on mine it's fused. Makes me feel better!

Thought I'd share. :)
