IN Germany you use a different system to figure octane so your 95 comes out just about the same as the lower numbers on this side.

thanks for that Smitty, that's something I didn't know...I'II have to look into this some more....all this time I thought I was putting good gas in......but at close to $8.64 a gallon...not sure I can afford the good stuff!

Don't think I'll ever understand why someone would spend the money on a Harley and then pinch pennies on the gas. I mean, are you really willing to risk the possible engine damage from knocking? I can't believe the Motor Company is in cahoots with the gasoline companies... don't believe they'd recommend a higher octane than is necessary. Of course, that's just MHO.
