I'm am looking for a place that sells hard bags for this year hd. Im new to the harley scene. The bike is lowered 2 inches and has dual fishtail pipes that end pretty much at the end of the fender. Trying to go for the stretched extended look for the bags. If anyone knows a place or could help me out I would appreciate itthatnks.

Something like this? If this is what you are looking for, I will get details from the owner.

Check my previous post.

Yes exactly like that

OK, here's the deal.
The guy is going to send me a .doc document with the details on his extended bags, i.e., info about the lids, locks and miscellaneous hardware. He also has a "spare" that he is selling at a reasonable price that will save you some $$ if you are serious about this endeavor. The below link is to his add on another forum where he posted the bag for sale.

The bags are from TopBags and the sell for $850/pair, no lids or hardware; not sure about liner or paint prep. He has listed the bag for sale at $250, plus shipping but I would bet a six pack he will let it go for $250 shipped or $200 plus shipping.

I will forward the details when I get them from him and he said he would send to me later today.

OK, here is the document the guy sent me via email with the details of the left side bag, where he purchased and why, where he purchased the miscellaneous hardware, etc. His email address is included and he will be happy to communicate with you on the sale of the extra bag he has and answer any questions you might have regarding assemble and installation of the bags. Good luck!

Ok so here is what I have,

I bought the bags from
www.topshopcarbon.com
I have an extra Left side bag available for sale. All you’d need is the right side and you’re good to go. They sell them for $870 for the pair but you’d only need one so about $435 plus mine if you want it for $200. The money you save could cover your lids and hardware. The one I have if straight from them untouched. You can
see it here. This company offers the best bags on the market. I researched the hell out of them before I settled on Top Shop. The painter said he’d never seen bags before with so little prep needed. If you’re interested let me know.

I bought the lids from
www.baddad.com

Bag latches from
http://www.performancemachine.com/motorcycle-accessories/bag-latches.aspx

Locks form the dealer so that they could get me the ones that would fit my bike key.

The bag brackets from Cycle Visions.
http://www.cyclevisions.com/index.php/cvstore/bagger-tail-softail-bag-mount-08-up-chrome-cv7206.html they’re pricey but I’ve seen so many that are poorly made and if you want to spend money spend it here. It’s what holds your bags in place. I got the chrome ones so that when I ride without the bags it looks nicer than the black.
