Hardbag Latch Operation

I have had the 2006 Roadglide since new… I have never experienced a problem with the hard bags till now. One day the latch would not stay latched! In order to keep the top closed I need to lock it…. How can I resolve this small issue that has become a pain…. Thanks in advance

If its the same that happened to me check the fabric flap ,mine was folding out and getting caught. a few times of putting my hand in and pushing it back into the bag it started to lay the right way on its own and now its fine.

Thanks.... I have checked that, and in doing so, found that the spring is broken.... I have removed it and intend to replace the spring tomorrow and hope that will resolve the issue....
