I've read a few threads about handlebar swaps and still got a question. I have a "04" XL883. I want to put the Sportster Custom handlebars on it. Is the brake line the only cable I'll have to replace? Thanks!

It depends on which handlebars you get. Hangars will usually require a new clutch cable as well. I ended up needing new clutch cable, brake line and because I had fat bob tanks, I also needed throttle cables. Good luck.

maybe take some measurements and go down to your nearest harley dealership and compare.

If you are changing the handlebars' height by more than 2"-3" you will likely need wiring extensions (available and J&P Cycles pg 797) as well as longer brake hose, clutch and throttle cables.
