Gulf Nightmare

I never claimed to be an engineer or anything like that, but if anyone is familiar with the oil drilling business, is this a reasonable suggestion?
Cap off a well nearest the damaged one. Disconnect the platform, refloat it, tow it to the damaged oil well, secure the platform and somehow lower a new containment housing to begin pumping the oil from the damaged well while drilling a relief well to make the existing damaged well head redundant. I realize this is a very expensive process and I don't know if a platform can be disconnected and relocated and the time line for such a process, but if it can be done, it has to be done to stop the spill.
