the test for the lowers will be when the temps drop below 40. once it warms up, my lowers are gone.

HA, no can do...the entire QD kit comes w/upper socket screws too (inside lowers) so removal is a breeze (~1-min). Man they really make a difference on sidewinds - couldn't believe how much air rides over your legs & up to chest (reduced riding fatugue). My jeans didn't even flap & these will definitely make a huge impact come Oct/Nov in NE. If anyone's thinking about lowers - I'm a believer in added functionality & comfort.
