i have a 72 xlch she runs hard till i get to 3rd gear then it shuts all power i get on the side of the road and kick it 1 time she goes again any sugg

Also check the fuel line for kinks and internal calapse or clogging. And don't for get the fuel filter.

thnx fellas ive done all that it was pokn holes in the gas caps,does any one know how to find out wht ratio of speedo i hv under my dash kit
