I would like to post up the following information. If any of you are in the Central Florida area you might be interested in the ride coming up next week that Donna and I are going on. (Info below) The ride fee is for a good cause.
I will never forget one time when I was at the Vets Hospital in Tampa and some of the sick and disabled Vets under going treatment were sitting outside on the veranda in their wheel chairs. The banner that week over the Hospital entrance said, THE PRICE OF FREEDOM IS CLEARLY SEEN HERE.
May 21 (ARMED FORCES DAY) : 4th Annual Police Escorted Memorial & National Armed forces ride to Bushnell National Cemetery. This is a memorable event honoring the PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE VETERANS. Event begins Saturday May 21, at Stormy Hill Harley Davidson 2480 S Hwy 27, Clermont, Fl 34711, 8:30am
Registration ($15 driver $10 passenger) You can purchase online at
4th Annual Memorial Ride from Gator H-D Event Registration
Motorcycle escort leaves 9:15am to Bushnell National Cemetery for Miltary salute and invocation.
Police escort will then head to Gator Harley Davidson for Military activities and lunch.
The public is invited to attend all military activities at each destination.
Event will benefit Disabled American Veterans Harley's Heroes Van on site to assist Veterans with their benefits They are asking for everyone to bring a personal item for our Veterans. Also, they are collecting medical supplies wheel chairs, walkers;etc for the VA Hospital.
