Hi new member from Keswick Ontario, have problem with 2004 fatboy gas tank trying to take apart for paint job, havent been able to remove sending unit out of the top of tank, bike also has custom flush mount pop up gas cap and fuel gauge:33:
It's a bit tricky to remove. It requires unhooking it and turning it in the proper rotation to remove it through the top. The factory manual should describe it.
Yeh you have to twist your tongue and tilt your head and look real weird at it and say some of those words that will get you banned from here and it will slip right out.
