Gas Gauge

Definitely not hooked up backwards, have checked it three times. The instructions that come with the gage say that if the gage has an inaccurate reading to check the shop manual for trouble shooting procedures, but the shop manual has no trouble shooting for this problem.

Is it much trouble to hook up the old gauge to confirm? Is there a warranty on this new gauge?

There is a warranty for the new gage, no way to hook the old gage up as you have to cut the wires to get it out, would have to rewire the whole thing. Plan on taking the bike into the dealership but was trying to see if there was a fuze reset or something I was missing. If this is a faulty gage then I figure they can go ahead and install it since I bought it brand new from HD.
