I have a 2007 Street Glide. Recently, I've noticed that my gas guage is spiking. For instance, it currently has a half tank of gas. When I started it this morning, the gauge showed that I have a half tank. I rode it to work and when I got there, the gas guage spiked to show that I have a full tank. There was condensation inside the glass from the humidity of my garage.
I let it sit about an hour, went outside and that humidity has dried out and when I turned the key to accessory, the guage showed half tank again.
Any ideas? This seems a bit more of an issue than a stuck float.
