fuel sending unit. fxstd

Friend of mine has an 05 fxstd with a digital LED gas gauge and it quit working for some time, try to remove and replace it with stock unit but does not how to remove the old one, I have a HD service manual CD (from Gary) but was unable to locate the section of how to remove fuel sending unit. Help please.

It should wiggle (not twist) out of the tank.

Thanks Glider, how about the gauge (left side of the tank) how does it comes off?. It has a "do not twist" sticker on the side.
