My bike has erradict idle and high speed hesitation, figured it could fuel related so I removed the fuel pump module to check for pin holes on inline hose in tank.Everything seems fine but did notice that the fuel regulator had popped out of its housing about a 1/4 inch, well I popped it back in and bike ran good.A few days later the bike started acting up again removed the module again and this time the regulator had popped out and broke the tab on the regulator housing.could there be an problem with the check valve causing the fuel pump to create excessive pressure causing it to pop out or is the regualtor messed up?

Hey dtaylor003, i had the same problem a few months ago...Regulator housing had a broken tab on the corner allowing the regulator to pop out...Inexpensive part and a twenty minute fix
