I went thru this whole mess the inner linning comes apart in sheets that look like primer i called hd they know about this issue, i had to pull the whole deal apart replaced the the return line that breaks, took 19 nuts and pulled the tank dish washing soap mix and water shake the --- out of it ten times flushing it out then took the party size carb spray and sprayed the fuel pump sock, you could see it deluting the stuff got thru the mesh and restricts the pump then put the pump and --- back in pain butt worth it hd says not to send out for relining i think they said it is added at factory to cover welds and in some cases comes off im out of warranty dealer was $$$$ not this guy mb
