Front wheel end play

End play only needs to be checked/adjusted when new bearings are fitted to the wheel as you have already had the end play sorted by an expert only thing you need to do now is put everything back on the bike
with my bikes i have never had any difficulty fitting the calliper after the wheel and fender are already fitted just ensure there is a gap between the pads wide enough for the brake rotor to fit

I would say it's ok . you check the bearings dry with no grease .002 to .006 if they are right then you pack with grease . if the bearing where to tight the wheel wouldn't spin right with no grease and the wheel nut to proper torque .
