Front vs Rear

i think im getting a little bit of dry rot on my 2007 road king stock dunlops at 9500 miles anyone else having this same problem?

I always thought this was the rule. Am I wrong.

If a tire compound is Soft, tires will gripe better but tire life will be short.

If tire compound is Hard, tires will not be as sticky but tire life will be long.

Hoople,
You are 100% correct... however... and it may be (EDIT) (pure something magic) but I find the Elite-3 from Dunlop to grip the rough NC roads as well, if not better than OEM 402's, Metzler 880's.

Improved design, tread, yada yada yada... I don't care HOW it works... just THAT it works
