Front fork air baffle ????

My 09 Road Glide came equipped with a front fork baffle. I've never take it off. I seem to remember reading somewhere that it actually increases the amount of air passing over the engine.

In the 07 touring service manual it mentions removing it in hot weather for better air flow.
I have not look for it in other year service manuals but if I were a betting man ...I would say it is there if you look.

Smitty

What section were you looking in. I looked thru the 2010 service manual and cant find anything so far, but I just might be looking in the right area. I would think that it would help cooling, not hinder it. Very odd.

it sure cut down on air coming up between tank and fairing and you can reach up going down the rode and feel air going around to front cylinder! i vote good for the price and it leans up look of chrome frontend! later always ride safe !!
