front brake pad worn funny

    when i went to put new brakes on my 96 flstc i noticed the inner front pad was worn in sort of a wedge smaller by alot on the bottom of the pad than the top i wonder if i did not seat them in right or what i took the rotor off checked thickness was fine and not warped any thoughts on this new here love this site learned alot now do all my own work thanks guys:(

    If it is a 2 piston caliper poss the lower piston is not returning properly, Or the slide is sticking on the lower side but that would normally cause the outer pad to wear the opposit direction. Also check and make shure where the pad slides on there is no defects that would cause the pad to stick.

    single piston thanks i am going to tear back apart clean good and check for defects
