New 2011 FXDC..........bike is black....I'm getting forward controls for it................question.................black or chrome controls? Dealer wants to know which I want. What do you think?
 
Black for me every time. Chrome is good for cleaning.

I think YOU should make the decision on the choice. You are the only one that has to be satisfied with the choice.
 
Hi like some of the others said it's only you who has to like it
With all the other chrome the bike has, I would go with chrome
Good luck, sometimes these are the things that make owning a bike really fun
 
Odie is correct this is the fun part!!! For me since the parts are close to the ground and will get dirty I find that chrome is easier to clean.
 
Well, the problem is, I'd kinda like to SEE a bike with chrome, and a bike with black, so I can decide. I'm thinking black would be TOO black, but if I saw them on a bike like mine, I'd know for sure. Anybody got pics of black on an FXDC?
 
My bike is black and I have the H-D forwards in chrome, which gives a little contrast and I like the look... :)
