Forward controls 1200 sport

Hi guys,

This is my first post here so please go gentle with me!

I have a 1200 sport and I am 5ft 11" tall. After around 60 miles of riding I have to get off for a break as my tops of my legs really start to ache.
I have read that forward controls really help for the taller rider, can anyone vouch for this as I don't want to fork out £300 only to find after 60 miles I feel the same.

Thanks for the advice guys.
I have highway pegs fitted, and yes it does help, but I then find it a chore to keep moving your feet back for the brake a gears.
Think I will see if I can find a secondhand set first as I think £300+ is well over the odds for what they are.
