Fork tube plug

Does any one know if there is a special tool for removing the fork tube plug on an 09 RG? I am atempting to put in a Progressive drop in suspension. The HD service manual doesn't say anything special about removal of the fork tube plug.

I'm asking about the fork tube plug, not the fork cap. Touring models have a threaded plug inside the tube under the cap that holds the spring in.

Referencing my manual, it just says "using flats, unthread fork tube plugs". You should have the inner tube clamped to prevent turning, but I can't see anything special is needed. I've never pulled my Electraglide forks apart, but on my other bikes, the only tricky part was not crossthreading those fine threads when reinstalling.

Thanks Breeze, my manual doesn't say anything about the flats and i wasn't sure what to use on the flats, and it calls for a 40 to 50 torque on install.
