fork shaft

i have been told many different storys. is for a fact the fork shaft that holds the shifter forks factory pressed into the tranny door? mine slid right out.

I'm not saying there isnt a model out there that is pressed, but every trans ive been into slid right out

Who ever told you it is a tight fit is wrong, it slides right out.
