foot clutch issues

I was wondering if anyone else has had an issue with a jockey shift/foot clutch kit for 5 speed from v twin mfg? I installed one last night on my hardtail and can not get the cable adjusted properly. cannot depress the clutch even with cable all the way loose.

Just a guess but make sure the cable ball connector on the clutch cable inside the tranny cover isnt laying on the trans dipstick.
