Flush mount Popup Gas Caps

Hi, I'm thinking of changing out the old stock vibrating/spinning Gas caps on my Evo Softail with another type. Has anyone had any experience with those Flush Mount Popup gas caps? Would they make it tough to gas up? The ring against the paint seems like a good idea..(protection from the nozzle).

They surely look nice ... At least for me the gas up hasn't been a problem.... The actual problem I'm having is the gas fumes damage in my paint job ...nobody noticed until it was about 1.5" out :(
 
Yes, that's what they say
But I have a 1500 ruined paint job saying the contrary
But hey .... I might be the exception
