Is there any gear ratio difference between a police trans, and a stock FLH trans?

Nope...but when going through the V-Twin catalog this AM I notice they had a "Police Clutch" pak...just appears to have a heavier spring. Police Bikes are regular HD FLH's with a different paint job, extra wiring harnesses, higher output alternator(for the extra Police goodies) and a clutch saftey switch.

You'll probably find that the police model has a different primary ratio.

Looking at the Police Service Manual Supplement I have for my '03, the sections on Engine, Fuel system, Elect Starter,Drive ,Tranny and Fuel Injection all refer me directly to the factory service Manual. Which lead me to believe these parts on the bike are the same as a stock civilian model
Only the Chassis and Electrical Sections have anything in it. It's really a thin book:s
