Is there a way to go to a single throttle cable on a servi-car? Can you set the advance and leave it?

On my Panhead I attached a spring to the circuit breaker, to start it I would rotate the circuit breaker back to retard the timing, once started the spring would hold it in full advance May be worth a try:s
