Flat spotted tires from storage

I know without a dought, that the best way to store your bike for the winter season, or any extended period of time, is on a lift with the tires off the ground. That being said, has anyone had a problem with flat spots on their tires from letting the bike sit on the tires that didn't disapear after a few miles of riding? Did you over-inflate 10-15% or leave tham at recommended pressure?

Just looking for real life results, not ideal situtions.

left mine just as I rode it into the garage just changed the oil and put on a tender had no problems at all with it!
