Fixing up dad's bike

What's up guys, I've been fixing up my late father's bike and I've run into a few issues, overcome a few issues. Now I decided to stop relying on google, and talk with a few experienced Harley owners. My first question would be about the odometer, it's reads 27,000 but I'm concerned that it may have rolled over and could actually be reading 127,000. Any thoughts?

Welcome from So. Texas. First off what bike & year is it? Earlier mechanical speedo only had the 5 digits, later was 6 digits.
