I love the look of a fishtail exhaust, but am happy with the stock sound (for now!!) of my '07 RKC, so I decieded to just go for the tips.
Last night I installed my Kuryakyn fishtail exhaust tips. Thought you might like to see them and the install.
This is what came in the box, thats stainless hardware and clamps.
the instructions say to put the long side of the clamp on the inside if you do not have heat shields.
but on the left side, I was going to have a problem, so I switched both side to have the long part of the clamp on the outside. I think it looks better because they are not so noticable.
and, the finished product. I think they look great and so do many other people. They add about 6" to the bike lenght.
Probably with some adjustments, I could get the long part of the clamp to be as stated in the instructions, but I like 'em hidden a bit more
