Were you present during the inspection to point out possible points of interest?

Nope. Was never even notified. The dealer actually called me this afternoon to say they were finishing their estimate up and would call me by Monday. The only people from SF who have been helpful are my agent and her office. The claims people have never called me once. So we will see what happens when I get the dealer estimate.

I would call the adjuster and tell him you are sending the check back and explain to them that you will only accept what will cover the damage or total loss....and lets not forget the pain and injury the two of you went through.....

Forgot to update this as I've been pretty busy. Bike ended up as a total loss. $8,600 worth of damage. State Farm gave me what I wanted for it with no hassle. All in all it turned out as best as I could have hoped.
