First ride of the season

Well it was just to nice out today not to take the bike out of winter hibernation. I put just under 100 miles on today when I went to meed my father for some breakfast. When I left it was nice and sunny but only about 38 degrees out and when I got home it was just under 60. I figured this would be a good time to road test the leather overpants that I picked up about two months ago and I must say they work pretty darn well. Now if it can just keep getting warmer and melt all of the white stuff that is still around.

Had a nice first ride here in Michigan also! Mid 40's but clear and sunny. Wore my insulated christmas chaps and was quite comfortable.

We've been out 4 or 5 times this year. It's been unusually warm and dry for Oregon.

We just did about 100 mi today. It's supposed to start raining again tomorrow so we're heading back out for a short evening ride!:D

Sunny and 40 so I couldn't resist. Got in about 40 miles tooling around. Wish I would've worn my full face. Only part of me that was cold. Roads were nice (as long as you stay away from the back roads). Expecting rain tomorrow but high 40's starting monday. Can't wait to ride to work!

Cannot get my bike into the Harley shop until the 13th to remap using the Super Tuner. I have the bike together after the winter build, would be way to lean for the break in procedures.

Here in Chicago-land I'm making it a goal to ride all 12 months.

From January til today (racked up 90 miles today) I've done just over 400 miles. Altho today I finally wore the chaps and leather jacket instead of ski-pants and a parka!!!

Nice day here in Tennessee. Took a good ride.Still needed leathers but it sure was nice to get the HD out.

I just can't comprehend living in a snow pact, I ride every day at least 100 miles a day rain or shine and think it’s kinda funny when the weekend warriors come out for the 2 hour put. There like little kids on there first recess.
But to each his own, if it started snowing up here for more than a week I would be in the motor home headed south with out thinking twice.

It was 48 in Chicago today. Couldn't take it any more. Went out for a few hours buzzing around town. Very nice :D
