I have been so unfortunate to get a ugly scratch down to the metal in my rear fender on a 100th anniversary Fatboy. The scratch begins in the fender "shoulder", and goes down to the anniversary stripe.
I see no problem in repainting the fender, but that means the anniversary stripe has to go. Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase the stripe, and if so where? If not, how can I then get my fender back to mint condition?
Please help, and thanks in advance for any helpful hints.

Just put a 100th anniversary Tank & Fender on a friends 03 dyna so Harley still has the painted parts, but pricey. If you can't get it repaired you could order a new painted fender through Harley. They will require the return of the 100 anniversary emblem on the front of your old fender probably. Good luck

What color is it?Black and silver, or the blue. How close is the scratch to the stripe? If its away from the stripe, you may be able to blend and reclear.

    A picture would be helpfull.

most custom paint shops can match it.. prob for less than you would pay for a new one from HD...
