fault code

electrics does any one know what the fault code 37 on a 1998 roadking classic is?

that would be low battery voltage

Code 16 pertains to battery voltage. Not aware of a code 37 in that bike.

thanks flraider, glider yeah my bike started to spluter and miss then went
on to one cylinder spoke to roadnsport the hd dealer in hamilton nz but
they were a bit puzzled about it, they sugested it was a bad coil or the
crank sensor it starts ok but after a while it starts to miss and the engine
light comes on then it just goes on to single cylinder almost like its flooding
i hope to get it to them soon as we are running out of daylight saving hours

You can test the crank sensor two ways. Heat it up when it's cold or cool it with some freon when it's hot and acting up and see how the engine responds to it. Makes it easier to diagnose it. There was some problems with them back then.

hey glider its stuart i had the fault code happening checked cranksensor it is melted on
the top where wire goes in,charged battery then started bike stopped bike code 16
flashed then bike wouldnt start let cool down then it starts again??? any ideas

i had issues with 1998 roadking checked crank sensor its melted where wire
goes in recharged battery bike starts perfect turn off code16 turns up
then bike wont start till cooled down any ideas?? 16 i think is battery voltage
but its just been charged.
