used some liquid polish and a gray scotch bright pad and after a very sore finger had it looking pretty good considering how bad it looked.

As Jack directed on link, screweylouie posted about barkeepers friend, it works great for removing corrosion from aluminum wheels, keep in mind you may want to polish or seal them after. I have been using a marble/granite sealer with teflon, just have to wipe then down now to get them all bright.

getting most of the corrosion wasn't too bad, but I agree that some kind of polish needs to be applied. the barkeepers friend does leave a haze that is hard to remove.

Yes it does, if outside rinse, rinse, rinse.
