I went to a mustang seat and ROHO Airhawk Air Hawk Motorcycle Seat CUSHION which works very well we ride till we have to fill up and then we stop were we use to ride about 100 miles with the stock seat and had to stop because of the butt ache.
We always tighten up the shocks for those long cruises with the luggage and and anything else the little women decides she needs to take along!
hope this helps the Air Hawk really works good never tried it with the stock seat but I bet it work just as well with the stock seat.
