Exhaust ticking

Got a ticking noise (not really a "ping"), only seems to be coming from the rear cyl (muffler, gutted SE slip ons). Noise is only noticeable at idle (esp at high idle). '02 FXD.

Praying it's an exhaust leak....any other "common" issues to look out for ???

Have you checked for an exhaust leak? Glider posted a self help tip on this. Basically put on heavy gloves, and cap the exhaust with them and have someone check where it is leaking

Have not checked yet, love the Glider suggestion - sounds like a plan. Guess i'm just being my usual "worst case scenario" self......
