Exhaust swap??

Can anybody tell me if a Stock exhaust from an 06 FXST will fit on an 07? Both have the 200 mm wheel but I think the 06 has the 88" motor. My 07 has a 96". I called 2 dealers and all I got was " they should. Try them and see". Not much help there.

From the outside there is no difference between the 88 and the 96 motors so with the two bikes both having the same tire it would seem to me that you have no fitment differences.

I believe the introduction of the 96" engine included the use of O2 sensors on all models. No physical difference in the pipes except for the O2 bungs welded close to the heads.

Guys thank you for the info. I called Trev Deeley Motorcycles today and Kyle in the Service Dept Actually took the time to check everything out while on the phone. He also said the only difference is part numbers due to the o2 sensors and that everything should bolt right up. And since I have a TFI I don't really need the o2 sensor bungs. Got a complete exhaust system lined up for $75.
