I have purchased a TFI, waiting on the delivery. Since owning my 08 FLHTC, I have continually switched exhausts between my stock pipes and my SE II slip ons. Well..with the TFI, I have decided to install my SE II (w/Stage 1) permanently. My question is, those pipes have been on and off of two bikes continuously...I noticed the last time I had them on I kept getting a leak..even with new clamps I kept getting a leak. Could that be from continually removing them? Stressing the metal or something? If so, is there something I can put on the header (gasket material) to stop the leaks?
