I have installed a set of Vance & Hines Sideshots with standard baffles/V&H fuelpak/SE Pro Heavy Breather, the mapping for the V&H fuelpak (FP-1684) left alot to be desired as I had quite a considerable amount of popping on decel.
V&H tech support advised me to change pot 23 from 22 down to 19 which caused the front cylinder to misfire under low revs and engine vibration was very rough on high revs, several e-mails later to V&H tech support went unanswered so I decided to play with the fuelpak values in pot 23 myself and found that value 21 was about as good as it was going to get, popping on decel is almost non-existent and engine vibration on high revs has gone.
However on decel I now get what I can only describe as Crackling, chinese fire crackers, hog in a hot frying pan, what causes this, is this due to lack of back pressure, could this cause any damage/problems?
