Exhaust Bolts

    Well was riding home and found when I got there I lost 2 bolts from the head fell off!

    What size are those bolts? How can I prevent that in the future..

    Do you mean the nuts, because the exhaust are connected via studs not bolts and if those came out .... wow!

    If you are referring to the two nuts per pipe that hold the exhaust flanges, they should be torqued to factory specs. I've never seen any just loosen up and fall off, other than those that were not properly installed.

    Common problem, use hew nuts and lock washers and torque them to factory specs, 5/16 std thread

    And yes you can get them in stainless, and yes you can "doublenut" them if you "really" have a problem (just the stainless nut and washer was sufficient for me).
