Exhaust bolt/backfire

    Suddenly I have been getting unusual backfire during deceleration. Couldn't figure it out. To my surprise, I found one of the exhaust flange nuts had fallen off. Put it back on and runs like it should. Thought I would share this for anyone else who might not have known this !

    It is not uncommon for the flange nuts to back off or even fall off i have taken to using a second nut and locking them together and it seems to work for me

    Exhaust flange nut tightness is part of scheduled maintenance per the manual. This is a good lesson/thread for those with exhaust backfiring/popping issue on decel.
