the newer twin cam engines have cam tensioners but what is the difference with earlier EVO engines

Note that the TC engine in the animation is show with a gear driven cams setup. This is an up-grade from the stock configuration (chain driven cams).
Oil jets to cool the pistons, internall oil pump, longer stroke, improvement on the Evo, tho nothing wrong with the Evo motor JMO
less vibration to esp on a softail the twin cam that is ..

What HYD tensioner are you referring to with the gear drives???
OK Gotcha. I thought you were referring to tensioners in a gear drive setup.
