Engine stalls at low RPM

I have an '05 Screaming Eagle V-Rod to which I added a performance kit from a company call V-Mod (outside Detroit) who have since gone out of business and disappeared no less. The short story is I sent my stock pipes to these guys which they cut and sent back with a pre-mapped PCIII and high flow air filter. The bike sounds great, but it's stalling out at 40-50 mph at low RPM. If I am going down hill and throttle back, the engine simply cuts out. I can usually get it re-started by downshifting and popping the clutch, but not something I really want to do. I also noticed that the engine backfires now and then when starting. It never did that before. I'm guessing this has something to do with the PC/fuel settings, but I am hoping someone has additional advice? Thanks, MP

You could unhook the PC to see if the cutting out condition quits. It will probably too lean to run for long but if the cutting out quits, you have found the cause.
